Why be a Micro Coach?

Being a Micro Coach is an opportunity to sow seeds of knowledge to support businesses in the independent business sector (mainstream and social enterprises) and voluntary organisations in their development.

This programme allows you to help others in a tailored and productive way, while developing your own leadership and coaching skills and increasing your networking opportunities.

Fitting in with your business

Coaching others is done within your time constraints, to fit in with your work and your own organisation.

You are not obliged to accept any Micro Coaches sessions, as we recognise that your own business needs will always come first. However, we ask you to accept or refuse sessions within the timescales in the Terms and Conditions.

Enhancing your business

The skills that you will gain in skills transfer will be of value in your own organisation, as you will learn to transfer skills to others. You can use these skills to enhance and train your own staff in your skills, ensuring staff development and succession planning.

Raising your profile

The programme allows you to increase your profile in your local business area, and marks you out as a skilled and successful business person.

Networking

A Micro Coach is meeting new colleagues and helping them. Your networking circle will increase - and networking is good for business!

Being supported

We offer you online and telephone support with Programme Managers, online networking with other Micro Coaches throughout England, and feedback on each session.
