About Us
Social Enterprise East of England (SEEE)
Covering six counties, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex,
Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk; SEEE is both a membership organisation for
social enterprises and a strategy and policy organization.
SEEE’s primary aim is to embed social enterprise firmly into the economic framework of the region, and to show measurable and significant social and economic impact. At SEEE our vision is a prosperous and vibrant social enterprise sector in the East of England.
SEEE exists to build and strengthen the platform for a thriving social enterprise movement to ensure the growth and increase of the diversity, prosperity and sustainability of the Social Enterprise Sector and partners in the East of England.

Inspire East
Inspire East is the regional centre
of excellence for sustainable communities in the East of England. Inspire East
delivers the knowledge, skills and advice that will inspire you to use and apply
best practice in creating high quality places to live, work and visit.
Inspire East’s aims are to:
- Create sustainable communities by promoting better community and physical development in regeneration areas and areas of growth.
- Enhance the skills required by sharing knowledge, information and experience, and working closely with training providers.
- Improve the quality of projects through benchmarking and sharing best practice.
- Influence and guide policy for sustainable communities. Inspire East supports anyone involved in the planning, delivery and management of sustainable communities in the East of England.

ESF
The European
Social Fund (ESF) is one of four Structural Funds designed to
strengthen economic and social cohesion in the European Union. The fund aims
to:
- help unemployed and inactive people enter work
- provide opportunities for people at a disadvantage in the labour market
- promote lifelong learning
- develop the skills of employed people
- improve women's participation in the labour market
